Capital University of Physical Education and Sports (Beijing Institute for International Olympic Studies) and International Fair Play Committee signed a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation. / 首都体育学院（北京国际奥林匹克学院）与国际公平竞赛委员会签署谅解合作备忘录

On April 21, 2023, the signing ceremony of the memorandum of understanding and cooperation between Capital University of Physical Education and Sports (Beijing Institute for International Olympic Studies) and the International Fair Play Committee (CIFP) was successfully held. The ceremony was conducted simultaneously in Beijing and Budapest via video link. Jeno Kamuti, President of CIFP and Chen Zuosong, Vice President of Capital University of Physical Education and Sports (Beijing Institute for International Olympic Studies) attended the ceremony and delivered speeches. Gabor Deregan, Executive Director of CIFP, Kole Gjeloshaj, Chair of Education and Scientific Commission of CIFP, Zuo Wei, Director of the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation of the Capital University of Physical Education and Sports, Laszlo Vajda, a senior expert and professor at Beijing Institute for International Olympic Studies, Ru Xiuying, Director of the Olympic Research Center of the Capital University of Physical Education and Sports, Du Haisong, Deputy Director of the Office of Beijing Institute for International Olympic Studies, and other guests attended the signing ceremony.

2023年4月21日，首都体育学院（北京国际奥林匹克学院）与国际公平竞赛委员会谅解合作备忘录签约仪式成功举行。仪式通过视频连线，在北京和布达佩斯两地同时进行。国际公平竞赛委员会主席杰诺·卡姆提（Jeno Kamuti)，执行理事盖博·迪瑞根（Gabor Deregan），教育科学委员会主席 (Kole Gjeloshaj) 首都体育学院（北京国际奥林匹克学院）副院长陈作松出席签约仪式并致辞。我校对外交流与合作处处长左伟，北京国际奥林匹克学院高级专家、教授拉兹洛·瓦伊达（Laszlo Vajda），我校奥林匹克研究中心主任茹秀英，北京国际奥林匹克学院办公室副主任杜海松等嘉宾参加本次签约仪式。

At the signing ceremony, Jeno Kamuti, President of CIFP, said that it is a great honor to sign a memorandum of understanding and cooperation with Beijing Institute for International Olympic Studies. The ceremony coincided with the CIFP Council Meeting, and members witnessed the signing, marking a significant historical moment for CIFP. CIFP will fully support the construction and international promotion of the Beijing Institute for International Olympic Studies and advance the integrated development of fair play and the Olympic Movement. CIFP is a non-profit organization committed to promoting fair play and sportsmanship in the sports community and beyond. This year marks the 60th anniversary of the establishment of CIFP. In order to better promote fair play in China and even wider Asia, we plan to establish the Asian Representative Office in the Beijing Institute for International Olympic Studies.

签约仪式上，国际公平竞赛委员会主席杰诺·卡姆提（Jeno Kamuti)表示非常荣幸能与北京国际奥林匹克学院签署谅解合作备忘录，恰逢国际公平竞赛委员会理事会议，期间全体委员见证此次签约，是该委员会非常重要的历史时刻。委员会将全力支持北京国际奥林匹克学院建设和国际化推广，也将公平竞赛与奥林匹克运动融合发展。国际公平竞赛委员会是一个非营利组织，致力于在体育界和其他领域中推广公平竞赛和体育精神。今年是国际公平竞赛委员会成立60周年，为了更好的在中国乃至亚洲地区推广公平竞赛工作，下一步计划将亚洲代表处设立在北京国际奥林匹克学院。

Laszlo Vajda, a senior expert and professor at Beijing Institute for International Olympic Studies, viewed the signing of the memorandum of understanding and cooperation with CIFP as a significant milestone for Beijing Institute for International Olympic Studies to further expand its cooperation with global institutions, entities and a wide range of fields related to athletics and international sports. With the contributions and support of Beijing Institute for International Olympic Studies, the value of fair play will play a significant role in Olympic education. We eagerly anticipate witnessing more and more young people benefitting from this collaborative project and program.

北京国际奥林匹克学院高级专家、教授拉兹洛·瓦伊达（Laszlo Vajda）认为，与国际公平竞赛委员会谅解合作备忘录的签署是北京国际奥林匹克学院在进一步扩大与全球合作机构、合作实体及来自奥林匹克和国际体育运动广泛领域合作事业的另一重大里程碑。有了北京国际奥林匹克学院的贡献与支持，公平竞赛的价值观将在奥林匹克教育中发挥巨大作用。非常期待看到越来越多的年轻人在此次合作项目和计划中受益。

The memorandum of understanding and cooperation signed this time aims to conduct comprehensive cooperation in the research and promotion of the concept of fair play, development of fair play, international sports organizations and Olympic education-related courses, cultivation of outstanding athletes and coaches with the spirit of fair play, and compilation of publications related to fair play. This collaboration will effectively promote the global popularization and practice of the concept of fair play.

此次双方签署的谅解合作备忘录，将在公平竞赛的理念研究和推广，公平竞赛、国际体育组织及奥林匹克教育相关课程研发，具有公平竞赛精神的优秀运动员和教练员的培养，以及公平竞赛相关出版物的编写等领域开展深度合作，有力推动公平竞赛理念在全球范围内的普及和实践。

Beijing Institute for International Olympic Studies will leverage this opportunity to further promote its internationalization. In the future, it will continue to explore cooperation with international sports organizations, jointly promote the development of sports, and strive to build a world-class sports university that integrates Chinese sports spirit and the Olympic spirit.
